Senior Pastor - Greg Ledbetter
Greg and Lisa Ledbetter
Greg began ministry at the age of 15 under the leadership of his father developing a worship team. Since that time, he has prepared for his call to ministry by continuing to lead while learning at the same time. Educationally, Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts from Southern Nazarene University (Go SNU!) in 2007, continued with his Master of Divinity in 2011, and is currently enrolled in a Doctorate program at Fuller. One day he will complete that degree. But, in our world, we need to know more than what some certificates on the wall represent. Greg loves to see people live transformed lives in Christ. He loves to see the people of God engage on mission, and strives to help the Church be the hands and feet of Christ. Greg accepted the Lord at the age of 11 and remembers a clear sanctifying moment (big word for total surrender) around the summer of his senior year of high school. Shortly after that, Greg began to date Lisa (if you want more on that, you need to ask her). They were married in June of 2006 and have loved every day together! Aww… They have three children, Noah, who is now 7, Cassie, who is 4 years old, and Baby Julie.
Administrative Pastor - Matt Eubanks
Matt and Jeanne Eubanks
Matt and Jeanne began attending First Church in March of 2012 after retiring from 27 years of service in the U.S. Air Force.  He began lay ministry almost immediately by leading a Sunday school class and was later elected to the church board.  Matt has since answered the Lord’s call to be a pastor and is a full-time student with Nazarene Theological Seminary while serving as our Administrative Pastor, and still leads small group studies.  Matt and Jeanne have been married for 23 years.  Their daughter Taylor lives in Kerrville and son Conner is here in San Angelo.  The Air Force took them all around the world and back again, marrying just up the road at Sheppard AFB, Texas.  Assignments between then and now include  Okinawa Japan, New Mexico, Portugal, Texas, Germany, Missouri, Qatar, Virginia and retirement from Italy.
Youth Pastor - Gavin Juarez
Gavin Juarez
On July 30, 2015, when taking teens to camp as a sponsor, Gavin received a calling from the Lord to pursue a career in the field of youth ministry. The first Wednesday afterwards, he began as volunteer Youth Leader at San Angelo First Church of the Nazarene. Since that time he has begun to further his ministry by beginning the bachelors program of Pastoral Ministry through the online program at Nazarene Bible College (NBC) located in Colorado Springs, CO. Before that, Gavin attended Howard Community College in San Angelo, TX earning an Associates of Science Degree. He served as Youth Leader for about nine months at San Angelo First Church before being brought on as an official part of the staff as Youth Minister when receiving his Local Ministers License on April 3, 2016. About a year after receiving his Local Ministers License, Gavin was granted his first District Ministers License at the 2017 South Texas Church of the Nazarene District Assembly on April 28, 2017. This enabled him to officially carry the title of Youth “Pastor” in the church of the Nazarene in the South Texas District region. Gavin knew that he was always destined for greater things in this world after being healed from a type of cancer called Neuroblastoma as an infant. He always felt the call to help people, but he was not sure how he could until 2015 when receiving the calling for youth ministry. With the job of Youth Pastor, Gavin also holds another part time job at the tennis shop at Bentwood Country Club. When needed, he also coaches tennis at Bentwood and for the Conch Valley Tennis Association (CVTA). Gavin was born on February 24th, 1994 and raised in San Angelo, TX. Some of Gavin’s favorite hobbies include tennis, reading, any outdoor activity (favorite is long boarding), music, eating (gotta have my cheeseburgers), but overall his greatest desire is educating students about the love of their creator.
